Living things and their environment- Children identify the kingdoms of life and to classify living things within those kingdoms. The children will be introduced to the Linnean system of classification and will be able to develop their practical scientific skills through investigating mould growth on bread. Evolution and Inheritance- The children will learn about inherited traits and apply their knowledge to various animals and plants, before being introduced to the work of Mary Anning and Charles Darwin. |

‘Make My Voice Heard’ focuses on developing pupils' skills in using different art styles, exploring effects with tools, understanding and applying chiaroscuro, and creating symbolic and expressive drawings. It encourages children to form their own opinions about art, understand the impact of techniques, and convey messages through their artwork. |

We will be learning about how climate change is affecting the world? This topic enables pupils to understand the challenge of changing patterns of weather that contribute to longer-term climate change trends across the globe. Through enquiry, we will gain an insight into how changing patterns of weather at different locations around the world are impacting on the lives of real people with whom we can relate. |
We will be learning about the Shang Dynasty and its great significance as being the beginning of recorded history in China. We will gain an insight into the life and times of royalty and nobility as well as the ordinary commoners, whose strenuous efforts ensured the constant supply of food, bronze weapons and utensils, clothing and other goods and services that Shang society required to function. |

In PE we will be working on team Games – Football Indoor Athletics Dance Badminton |
We will be using Eaware to find out about Internet Safety including: cyberbullying, how to create safe passwords and social media safety. |

We will be listening, talking about and performing songs, based on Happy by Pharrell Williams. We will talk about how the music is put together and the emotions it can make us feel. |
